Catalog Plots
Here are some pictures I (David) have made to visualize the contents data for the all sky surveys I've parsed. All the plots are 14000x7000 rasterized PNGs. The code (still somewhat rough around the edges) can be found in plot_fieldboundaries.py should you want to use it.
N.B. Since these are big images they tend to slow down a browser a lot, and the way Trac handles thumbnailing leaves it up to the browser to scale down after the whole thing has been loaded into memory. Thus, I'm not displaying images on this page; click through to see smaller previews for the various surveys, but be warned of the sluggishness it may cause.

- The 1st Palomar Observatory Sky Survey, including the Whiteoak extension
- The 2nd Palomar Observatory Sky Survey
- The Southern surveys (SRCJ/ESOR/SERCRJ/SERCER, no SERC-J for some reason)
- The 2nd Epoch Southern Red Survey (called "AAOR" for some reason)
2MASS
2MASS apparently used instruments with a really small field size, so there's not a lot to see. Plot is here.
